Does this exhaust require a remap or added power unit to function properly? Is there a version with a dB killer? Many of the other S1 models appear to be fitted with one.

No dB killer is included with this race version exhaust. It is always recommended to have the bike tuned for proper air/fuel ratio when adding a more free flowing exhaust. Rapid Bike EVO auto tune is a great solution for this.
