MOTOVATION SAS8 SPOOL SLIDERS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Motovation Swingarm Spool Sliders

These spools have been designed to offer additional protection to your swingarm, calipers and rotors in the unfortunate event of a lowside or tip over, while offering the ability to use standard spool style stands. Riders around the world have tested our products on the street and track with outstanding results.

Typically a Motovation spool slider kit will include: (some models may vary slightly)

(2) Spool Slider Pucks

(2) Stainless Steel socket head bolts

(2) Small Bolt Head Washers

(2) Large Backing Washers

(2) Spacers - for swingarms that required the spool to be spaced off the swingarm

INSTRUCTIONS:

Slide the small bolt head washer onto the bolt.

Install one of the slider pucks onto the bolt.

Install the large backing washer to the backside of the spool puck.

Install the spacer onto the bolt IF YOUR SWINGRARM REQUIRES IT. Some bikes dont require the added spacing. If the puck has enough room to sit flush against the swingarm mount, then the spacers are not required.

Blue Loctite is highly recommended.
