Gilles Tooling parts are best known for their MotoGP collaborations. Made in Luxembourg, Gilles Tooling parts are very well made, with functionality as their main focus.

These frame sliders help to protect your motorcycle during a slide or drop.

Comes with everything needed to install it. A relatively easy install with minimal tools. Designed for both street and track use. No modification is required.

Sliders are designed to be resistant to impact and abrasion. Progressive impact inlay technology is designed to reduce the overall impact transferred to the motorcycle. This slider technology acts very similarly to a shock absorber. This helps to reduce the impact force that is sent into your motorcycle, during a drop or crash.

Note: Images are for reference. The actual slider kit may vary slightly to best fit your exact model. Some kits include additional mounting hardware. Everything needed to install is included. No modification is required to mount this kit. Protection for both sides of the motorcycle is included.

  • The style of them is a bit unique, but they blend in with the bike well. I have had gilles sliders on previous bikes that have crashed. They have always held up well. I prefer the basic style of evotech sliders better, but these have the cool impact spring feature, so they are a nice option.
  • Installed these on an M model. They look great, and I know they work great. My buddy dropped his bike in the driveway, and these did exactly what they should. I put them on mine after seeing them hold up well in a drop.
  • School of Thought #1: Stationary tip overs with frame slider still results engine gouge.

School of Thought #2: Stationary tip over with frame slider should avoid gouge(s) to engine.

Flaw: Drive side engineering (Germans, right!) design flaw.

Bought this set with impression being expensive will definitely protect my S1KRR-24 from unsightly gouges. Wrong! Drive side sliders Y axis was positioned higher as compared to the Brake side slider. Hence, tip over will definitively gouge the engine cover before it this slider absorbs the impact of the weight. And the supply chain doesn't even acknowledges anything.

I replaced mine with Puig R19 which was positioned the same plane as the Brake side therefore tip overs will only contact the bottom of the two wheel and the slider.

The logic that states "well it did its job otherwise it could've been worse" however true is parallel to a government job of minimum efficiency. I would not buy Gilles Tooling frame slider. Better off with other brand. I would be glad to post images here but there aren't any provision for that.
