The fuel tank center extension strip in carbon is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts.

Like all Ilmberger carbon fiber parts, this is manufactured according to the latest protocols and best industry standards. Made completely out of pre-preg carbon fiber materials using an autoclave. Special coating protects the best carbon fiber from light scratches and has a unique UV resistance.

Note: This is the center extension portion of the gas tank cover. The side pieces will remain the factory tank covers. The upper center fuel filler cap portion shown in some photos is available separately.
