SuperSport Brake Rotors by Brembo Aprilia / RS 660 / 2023

The Brembo SuperSport Brake Rotors were developed with the goal of offering a significant upgrade over your stock rotors.

These SuperSport brake discs are a two-piece floating rotor design with an aluminum alloy hat and a stainless steel outer rotor ring. They are engineered to provide improved braking performance over OEM rotors while retaining durability. The floating design helps manage heat by allowing the rotor to expand independently of the hub.

Under high stress, your stock rotor can overheat and warp, transferring excess heat to the braking system causing it to wear out prematurely or fail entirely.

The SuperSport Rotor’s friction surface is made of tempered martensitic steel which is capable of withstanding extreme thermo-mechanical stresses leading to more consistent performance over its lifecycle.

To keep the weight down, the carrier is CNC machined from billet aluminum and the rotor and carrier are joined by 10 floating buttons. These buttons allow the rotor to float independently of the carrier. This configuration significantly reduces rotor stress, wear and improves heat dissipation.
